Enrolling for Benefits

How to Enroll for Benefits

Shop for benefits via our enrollment website at https://bedbathandbeyond.ehr.com and follow the instructions below:

  1. Log onto our enrollment website at https://bedbathandbeyond.ehr.com the week after your first paycheck as a Full-Time Associate, but no later than 45 days after your Full-Time date of hire.
  2. Create a new account by entering your Social Security Number and Date of Birth. To verify your identity, you will need to correctly answer some questions based on your personal public information (e.g. validating a prior address or previously owned vehicle).
  3. You will then need to provide an email address (which becomes your username) and a phone number. Future logins will be verified with an email, phone call or text message.
  4. When you’re ready to elect your benefits, click on the Enroll Now button on the home page.
  5. You can always access helpful information and documents by clicking on the Resource Library in the upper right-hand corner of the enrollment website.

Important benefit decisions for you to make during this Open Enrollment period

We have purposefully redesigned the 2023 medical programs to fit the diverse needs of our Associates and their families. Our medical options have changed. That’s why it’s more important than ever for you to take a fresh look, since there may be an updated plan that better fits your needs.

Here are the highlights of the changes:

New medical options

You’ll have up to 3 options and a new 4th option (available in some areas).

  • The Copay Plan
  • $1,750 Deductible Plan
  • $2,500 Deductible Plan
  • Centivo Partnership Plan

Note: You will need to make an active election in order to enroll in either the new Centivo Partnership Plan or the $2,500 Deductible Plan.

We’ve updated our medical plans for the 2023 benefit year. We strongly encourage everyone to take a closer look at the new options. When you are ready to enroll, visit https://bedbathandbeyond.ehr.com. Be sure to take advantage of the tools available on the enrollment website to help you decide on the benefit options that best suit your needs.

If you do nothing

Your 2022 coverage/elections* will roll over at 2023 costs, which may not be the right options for you. Please note: Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account elections do not roll over; they must be re-elected each year.

* If you are currently enrolled in one of our medical plan options and do not log onto the enrollment website during this Open Enrollment period, your medical plan election will default to the same carrier (Aetna or Kaiser) and network (if applicable). Enrollment in the former $1,500 and $2,000 Deductible Plans will automatically map to the new $1,750 Deductible Plan and the Copay Plan will map to the same Copay Plan, all at 2023 costs. You will need to make an active election for the new Centivo Partnership Plan or the $2,500 Deductible Plan.
